Light the Night
November 13, 2010
The Leukemia and Lymphoma society holds an evening annually called Light the Night. It honors survivors, those who are currently fighting, and those who have passed on from these 2 diseases. My cousin Leslie got us all signed up and we met there to walk in honor of Todd. There were different colored balloons for each of the 3 groups represented. It was beautiful seeing all of the lit balloons filling the night sky. It was so emotional for us having to go get our gold colored "in memory" balloon. We wore tags with Todd's name too. I found myself feeling jealous of those who had the balloons representing survivors. This was our first night together as a family since the funeral. We miss you Todd!!! TKG!
