So, when I was a teenager and Tina was a pre-teen we had these Barbie coloring books that mostly just sat there. One day my friend was over and we decided to color in one of the books. It was Tina's. We thought it was really funny to draw mustaches on the barbies. :) Tina was devastated. I remember! Well, here we are years later and one day Tina reminded me with some spice in her voice of what I had done. She obviously had some pent up anger still. ha ha. I had no idea she had been so upset about it all those years ago. She was teasing, but I still felt a little bad about it.
Now Brynn uses a few of my old coloring books that I had saved in a box. It is fun to color with her in them. Old and new memories all at once! One day I saw my Barbie coloring book and opened it to find some pages that I had colored way back when. I tore one out and tucked it away for a couple of months until Tina's birthday arrived. This is what I gave her...
