We had prepped the kids about what they would see at the temple at family home evening earlier this week. We were all so excited!!! The temple is gorgeous, of course. I think it has one of the most beautiful chandeliers I have ever seen!!

It was so awesome to see their faces light up with each new discovery. They were so cute. They kept calling the brochure from the open house their recommend. Ha! They were so worried about finding it every time they set it down. I remember going through the Las Vegas Temple open house as a young girl and it made a huge impact on me. I hope my children were equally touched in some small way. I hope they will have the desire to go there one day to be married for all eternity.

I love the peace I feel in the temple. It is such a haven for me.
It was great to have Mom and Dad there with us. We love being able to hang out with family! The kids are so attached to their Grandparents. I love that. I never lived close to mine, so I missed out on a lot. I am glad my kids get to see my parents whenever they feel like it. Grandpa and Grandma Hale have been here to visit a lot too. We are getting spoiled!

We stopped and ate at Sonic afterwards. So fun. The milkshakes made the drive home so much more bearable!
So, on the way out we spotted this funny museum and stopped on the way home. So random, but so small town...

It was filled with antique household items like can openers and spoons. Ha!
It also just so happened to be my Dad's birthday, so we threw a little party for him...
I love the kids faces in these photos. They were exhausted. Note the stickers on my Dad's hand. He was decorated for the occasion by Jaden.
Of course we had Mother's Day stuff for Grandma too...
We put the kids to bed and ate some yummy cheesecake that my Mom made for Dad's birthday!
A great ending to a GREAT day!!!
