The kids loved it! Brynn hasn't seen snow for a couple of years, and Jaden never has. We dressed them up in the warmest gear we had. I had little knit gloves for them which got wet very fast. Brynn took hers off saying that her hands were "burning". Ha Ha, poor kid. We are not equiped for snow.

Don't my palm trees look cold? And this was just the begining!
When Joe and the kids first got outside in the snow the following conversation transpired...
Joe: If you open your mouth you can eat a snow flake.
Jaden: Oooh, Yuck!
Joe: Look, I got one in my mouth.
Brynn: Look, I got one in my eye!
Maybe if you are higher up in the air it will be easier catch one...
Of course, we had to build a snowman!
A little bit of palm tree for hair? Hmmm?
Brynn asked if they could make snowballs and throw them at each others coats. Ha Ha
Imagine being "the one" to save a precious life. What a gift!

How fun! It looks like that snow man is out of place! We have gotten a ton of snow here in Portland. Church has been canceled the past two weeks and school was canceled all week! Snow is fun at Christmas time!
