America's Got Talent, here we come! :)

Brynn came in the other day with her tap shoes on and a book of nursery rhymes in hand.  She had figured out that she could tap the rhythm of the nursery rhymes with her feet.  So inventive!  Joe and I got a kick out of it.  You will too...

Our Little Pianist!

Brynn started taking piano this year when she started kindergarten.  My good friend Krista Robinson is her teacher.  She is a fast learner, and her teacher says she's great!  She is a perfectionist (poor thing) and starts over every time she makes a mistake.  We are working on just starting from the mistake.  She memorizes every piece after a few times through it.  We are so proud of her accomplishments this year.  She is getting so big and is really good at everything she touches.  Way to go Brynn!  Here she is at her end of the year recital...

Mom, Dad, Tyler and the Pini's all came to see her. Livia makes a cute cameo at the beginning. Brynn played perfectly.  Joe and I looked at each other with tears in our eyes we were so proud of her.  This was one of those moments that you eat up as a parent!

This Never Happens!

I walked into the living room and found Jaden asleep.  AWESOME!  I can't believe he just fell asleep.  This never happens. This is what a year of preschool does to a kid!  Let's see, what can I get done???

One of my favorite days of the year...

Mother's Day!  Love it!!!  To start the day off, Joe made me a yummy crepe breakfast with fresh strawberries and cream.  Ooh, la la!

I opened my cards and a SWEET  gift card to Designer Boulevard, my favorite place to shop!!!

Then Joe made me a yummy dinner.  Hello, see why I love this day?  I love my family!!!!

Brynn's front top tooth has been getting so loose.  Of course, she wants to get it out herself.  Joe just wants to yank the thing out!

Here are a compilation of clips we filmed trying to get her to pull it herself.  She finally agreed to let Daddy pull it.  It took all night, I swear.  It was so funny.

In the end...a happy, toothless girl.  Yay!!!!!

Easter 2011

Superstition Farm

A trip to Superstition Farm...

We learned all about cows and had some flavored milk.  The kids loved picking out an exciting flavor for their milk.

20 weeks!

I thought I had better document with photos that I am, indeed pregnant.  I don't want this baby to ever say, "why aren't there any photos of me", so typical of children that aren't the first born.
So here I am at 20 weeks along...

golfland

As a girl growing up in Mesa, I used to frequent Golfland and Sunsplash.  Ahhh, the memories!
Now going back there is a little weird!  It seems like that was a different life.  BUT it is still so FUN!!!!!

Evan had his birthday party at Golfland.  We golfed, played video games, ate pizza and cake.  The kids loved it!  Having a party there is great!  They give you free reign of all the video games upstairs.  They are the old games, but still fun to play.  I think Joe and Ryan had the most fun playing those older games.  We could hardly rip them away from them when it was time to eat.  ha ha!

Cutest little boy ever!!!!!

It's a ... Girl!!!

We had our big ultrasound today. It is a girl! We were shocked. We really thought it was a boy. We are super excited though!!!! She is so cute. She has the same little ski jump nose her big sister Brynnley had in her sonogram photos. She also looks a bit like Jaden through the cheeks and chin. We can't wait to see her in person!!!! Hurry little baby, grow fast!

Eiwwwww!

So I was straightening up the play room and saw a "toy" behind the curtain. Can you see that dark spot towards the bottom of the curtain?


I pulled the curtain back to discover this little guy...


He's not scary, it's just that I don't want him in my house!

Jaden had his friend Grant over to play and they thought it was super cool! I shook him off the curtain and shooed him toward the sliding door with a broom. He went right out. No problem! Then Jaden and Grant watched him sit on the patio for about 5 minutes. We have only had 2 lizards in our house ever. Pretty good I think. I wonder how they get in?! I think it is mostly just shocking to discover one. They are a bit bigger than a bug! I would rather watch them climb up the wall outside thank you very much!

California, here we come!

I love this shot! I wish it were more in focus. Garrett, Brynn and Jaden were so cute together. It's amazing how cousins seem to know that they are related and just connect on a different level. They love and watch out for each other. I love seeing Garrett's little personality coming out as he gets older. He is sooooo cute! We just love him to pieces!

Tulips

The kids were asking what my favorite flower was and I said a tulip. Joe turned and looked at me so surprised. "I didn't know that", he said. I think he felt bad thinking he had been getting me the wrong kind of flowers all these years. ha ha. He said he thought my favorites were fire and ice and victorian roses. He was right, those are my favorite kind of roses. Usually when he gives me flowers it is roses, because it is a special occasion. I guess I had never told anyone that I like tulips. Tulips are so happy. I love to see them on Temple Square during conference. So, the next day Joe came home with these beauties just because he loves me! He's practically perfect!!
They lasted for days and days. I love tulips!
